Hot heated summer is the problem of my garden too.I usually plant them under the shade of a tree,still I can't keep them alive all summer.I have to wait till winter for seeing their bloom.

Dahlias are my favourite flowers Camillia....Yours are truly beautiful....We had a very bad winter here in the UK and i lost all my dahlia tubers about 30.....So i have had to start collecting them again, but im enjoying it very much..:>)

It's gorgeous. I live in the tropics too and I'm trying Dahlias for the first time. I'm trying them during out winter and spring though ... will see how they go through our horrible summer.
