Just need to tweek that back left of the staghorn border as not happy with it. The right is looking full and colourfull but not the left!! Might be different after the weekend! lol

Ahhhh you finished the fence, that looks a lot better .. what is the tree/shrub above the stagshorn? I like that and look at your Lupins! mine are still all leaf as are all my plants but were miles apart, you in the warm south me in the cool north, tut :)

There isn't anything above the staghorn. The fern leaves are part of the staghorn and looks lovely. Still in 2 minds about keeping it for next year!
I love my lupins, prob my fav at the mo in the garden along with the roses. I have a close up of the lupin & new roses in my photo's if you haven't seen!
Yes I think the warm sun plays a major role in the lupins!! I have another lupin but its like yours and just all leaf. I got that from B&Q. The lupin that is standing tall & proud i got from my local nursery. They look after there plants extremely well as you can see. There's 5-6 stems on the lupin, 3 have grown tall and turned into gorg blue, the other 3 are on the way up.
