just to say i have just seen a pic of the plant i think your mistery one is, it could be yellw loostrife, may have spelt wrong but hollyeves just posted a pic and im sure thats what you may have, garden looks great by the way steve

Ah thanks Jem. Its come along way from how it was. I done a blog a few weeks ago with pics on how it was to now if you wanted to see what i've done to get this far!
Thanks again Val, I am proud considering its my 1st attempt at doing a garden from scratch.
Sandra, it does look very very similar but on the pics i've seen of loosestrife the leaves are slightly different. With my leaves there is 1 line down the middle and then 1 either side of the middle making 3 in total (just in case you lost the will to count, lol) where the loosestrife only has 1 line straight down the middle. I could be wrong but guess we'll see soon enough! lol

Look at that! What a huge difference Steve, what a great choice of plants too, Colours/leaf shape's/heights, I can't believe its your first attempt at gardenng, has someone been givng you tips and advice? It all looks gorgeous.. ill go look at your mystery plant now :) with the 3 lines...

ah bless ya Dee. Yes it is my 1st garden that i've done. 1st property i've lived in that has a garden apart from my Mums. Just read a lot of blogs and looked at lots of pictures on here really. Mother in law has a gorg garden so got lots of tips from that.
