A rare British phone box - still in use in the grounds of Herstmonceux Castle

It's so comforting to see the old things still in use even if not very common.

I think they should have left them as they where part of the British culture.

we have several around here but 2 of those are in private gardens

At least they will be safe.

The only one I know of is in a private garden aswell. - Oh and one has been sent to Brittany to a twin Town of the place where I used to live :o)

Occasionaly we see one of those here in Germany. There is one in Wulfrath I know.
