I love delphs and have three types of Pacific Giant... Sir Galahad and Guenevere...and I can't remember the other one's name. But, like you, Olivoil...I think that mine are miles behind where they usually are... mine have just started and my peonies have just ended...and usually they bloom at the same time. My delphs didn't like the warm start to the spring..they really enjoy cool weather.

that would explain why they are later, not just this one either, in the big border up the garden there are two more (blue ones) and they are about the same distance away from flowering. My peonies have also gone, but one of the pink and yellow varieties is just about to open up, off up the garden now to see if the wind damaged it yesterday. thanks for your reply.
