No Andy ... they're rather uncommon here. I've only ever seen them in photos ... I've actually never seen them in the nurseries here.

That seems so unusual in the tropics it wouldn't be commonly available. They are available at most nurseries here. I know it's a grafted tree or can be grown from cuttings. It doesn't come true to type from seed.

The flowers look great! I never get tired of looking at African Tulip tree flowers. Do you have the Golden/Yellow (Spathodea campanulata 'aurea' ) flowering tree there? They're very popular here.
