Shady Bed

This is my shady bed (under apple tree and Rhodos) where I have grown most of my Hostas. However, last year I decided to give it a makeover. I removed the biggest Hosta (now by pond) and a messy sedgy thing and replaced them with variegated Solomons Seal (out of picture) and ferns. The wet summer last year did well for the ferns, but I'm not sure how they'll do this year as my garden is on the dry side. So far so good tho.... The Dicentra has bounced back after being hit by a late frost and the remaining Hostas are coming on a treat :-)
