Hi Val and Shirley, no, he's a common old Woodpigeon but he's the only bird will sit still long enough for a decent photo.....too fat to move maybe! I don't think he's really that fat actually, must have been fluffing his wings out or something! Pork pies? I'm sure he'd love 'em. :o))

It certainly looks like it doesn't it but it seems that none of them ever stop eating!

The pigeons do seem to be rather on the large size this year. Nature must have provided for the cold weather we've had.

Well I must say I've never seen a skinny Woodpigeon! It must help that they're not fussy about what they eat but I'm sure Nature has it all worked out.
