Thanks Gee. I've noticed flower buds on my pheasant berry bush, I hope you get some too :-)

My pheasant berry bush has disappeared, Dawn! It made three attempts at growing, twice the snow/frost killed the top growth and I really don't know what happened the third time. It grew to about 6-8 inches high, quite bushy but suddenly was no more :(

Thanks, Dawn. I don't know why it disappeared as it didn't seem to be suffering slug or insect damage when I last saw it. There are just two hollow sticks left in the ground now - I've left them there just in case it sprouts again.

I wonder if the rain got down the stems. Nevermind, I'll let you know when Im posting it.

My whole back garden was under a foot of water a couple of times during the winter, Dawn, so maybe there are no roots attached to the two hollow stems :(

Hello Gee, you must be amazed how anything has survived, I would guess your garden it very dry now, like mine.

Very dry, Dawn, and the clay at the front has baked hard. There never seems to be a happy medium, does there?
