Sunset on the longest day 2010

Nice to have it nice on the longest day. The last 3 have been dreadful.

Lovely sunset. The night before this (20th) June it was still light here at 11.30pm....no kidding! I love the summer solistice, but boy it's tiring - can't go to bed while it's still light!

Guess who's birthday is on the longest day!!!!!!!

It's lovely to have such beautiful weather now so we can appreciate the long evenings, I've been in the garden till 10 oclock the last few nights :-))

Hi Ann. Yes I had a lovely day. Mick was off and we went to find a couple of garden centres we had not visited before. One small and quirky with healthy but cheap plants. the other large and posh (we had a fantastic lunch) and ended up buying the furniture for the new terrace. Then bbq with kids in evening. All in all a perfect day! Jx

Jane we went to Warwickshire for the day, visited a lovely garden, had a nice lunch and bought my birthday pressie, lots of lovely plants from a National Trust garden centre :-))
