How do you keep your grass so green in this hot weather?

That's a good question...it's not though watering because i''ve only watered it once and that was yesterday. The front grass is very yellow....I'm nut sure why the back has managed to stay so green.....that's a puzzle. I did feed it well in the spring though....and I didn't feed the front, so that must be the difference!
