Yes they are very special - they were the only plants (5) in the garden when we came here nearly 13 years ago but they were right on the fence and only started to grow and flower 3 summers ago. I keep them in memory of someone I only met once, a single mum (ex violent husband) who lived here with 3 children one had leukemia and a we heard later that 2 years after we moved in that the child had made a good recovery but the mum had died of liver cancer. Somehow I feel this women wants them to grow!
