The large, old Plumeria 'Makanani' planted in 1960 is located in the Clairemont District of San Diego, CA. It has a spread of appoximately 30 feet/ 10 meters and is about 24ft/7.3m tall. Photo taken June 26, 2010.

Yes, they can grow quite large here in San Diego...however, not as tall and wide as in Hawaii.

Me too. I think it's the common yellow and white flowered variety -- called Celadine...however, it had so few flowers to tell for sure.
