pots were bargain from Morrisons. everything has grown fast this month and I spend hours watering in this beautiful weather.

Lovely baskets Helen. I have to get the hose out tonight as the 2 rose bushes are looking a bit shrivelled. It has been so hot here in Essex. Just one downpour on Tuesday for a few minutes 1/2 filled one of the butts.

I am constantly watering the baskets just now. shouldn,t complain though when I think back to the dreadful winter

What a contrast Helen! So hot last night. Fortunately I sunk a lot of large plastic drinks bottles in the ground near valued plants while the ground was soft......just in case the weather turned this way. Doesn't look very nice but easy to water where it's needed.
