I go down each year as the roses are blooming and get a shot of them reflected in the pool. Again, a perfect year. Hope the pool is a nice shape next year after the landscaping, will be mostly wild grass, maybe a rose or two.

I love the wilder side of gardening, perhaps because I enjoy most wild places so much - I enjoy the surprize of discovering the new plants each spring! . Nature was meant to ramble, but there are always others who dislike her untidyness I guess. Hope she regains her independance again - my yard is beginning to recover from it's "necessaty tidy-up" from last year, thank goodness!!

TY. I love it as a gazing pool.
I love the wild side too GZ. I started gardening by study of the wild plants and herbs. Then the more cultivated side snuck in and took over....lol. Some of the more perfect designs are nature doing its work. I still let things go their own way and work with that, rather than train anything to mine. Good to hear the yard is recovering. Another amazing natural thing, resilience.

TY, I do too! I do want some kind of water feature in the garden this year. I must get something together. So nice to have it close by your bench or some such. :-) Pool gaze for hours.
