Before my Petunias or other annuals get straggly or untidy, I normally cut them back.....This is the second flush of the Petunias I have.

Hi Avis.....it does help to keep them going, I think one of my elderly neighbours years ago gave me the tip, I also do pansies as well and busy lizzies....every little helps, as they say....
