Hi Margaret. It's a little tree - a Cornus kousa Satomi. At the moment it's about 4 ft tall. I believe that it will grow to about 4.5 metres. We planted it last year and I think it is gorgeous.

Hi Margaret.
I've found this website which has lots of information on the Cornus kousa Satomi. According to this it is happy in full sun to light shade. It also has a different view of its potential height - 15 to 30 foot! I certainly hope that mine doesn't get that big. My garden is not very large.
