Also known as Spring Star these gorgeous plants can grow in deep shade.

Yes it is the grassy leaves that belong to it, it got a bit crowded back there, it's it quite deep shade, I think it does any level of shade and is quite tough. it doesn't even belong to me it is growing on the other side of the fence ;o)

LOL - i have 'acquired' a couple of things that way too - so have my neighbors - wonderful having interesting gardeners and gardens next door isn't it!!

Yes, this same neighbour also has a Wollemi pine, which he kindly let me photograph, you can see the pic in my photos :o)
