Herbacious border at Arley

We were lucky enough to catch the head gardener's tour, the borders there were gorgeous and the rose garden too, well worth a look if you're ever in the area.

It is an incredible border, so much colour and texture here.....

isn't it? this was my first visit, but we're going back to watch the tempest in the walled garden on thursday, so hopefully i'll get a peek at the garden again :p
