We have several custom made bits of furniture. Its lovely if you can get things made to spec for what you want to use them for. At least you know where he is.......buzzing away in his workshop. GJ used to spend hours in his until he became infirm.

Well done Barry. that is beautiful.very good to have man that can do those sorts of jobs.

Come to think of it, when we extended our garden by clearing some extra ground we chopped a big pear tree down and a friend made a log into a small table for us. It has gone a lovely colour in the thirty odd years since the tree came down. I treasure the table too. So it is garden related.

Lynda. Thanks for your comment, he has made another one for my daughter as she split from her partner & the rotter kept it, Barry is a cabinet maker by trade, most people buy from places like Ikea as its cheaper, there not into quality these days.
