Staghorn looking a lot fuller with so many new shoots and brand new horns starting to go full colour red.

Yes I've heard they go a little bit nuts if you cut a wrong section. Think it'll be going next year anyway!!

Decided against digging it up this year so just cut it back even more. Has let so much more light to my back border and fingers crossed I haven't cut off something I shouldn't! lol
Will add pic later of it pruned back

We cut ours half down because it was dying back and within a week we had over two hundred small shoots growing through our lawn where the roots ran from the tree towards the house, nightmare, had to get someone in to dig it up and they had to pull up the lawn too! Take care with it!
