Thanks for all your nice comments Michaella. I love your garden and all your pics...it was lovely to see it progress and mature. Maybe you could tell me the name of this shrub - it is not very tall, quite bushy with clumps of flowers like this all over it.............it would flower in your area end May probably as we are about 4-5 weeks behind with everything here in Inverness this year - it's been so cold and still only 17C today!!

Yes Valerie all plants surprise us when seen in a close up like this - they are nothing spectacular when seen with the naked eye. I think I'll buy myself a good magnifying glass for when I'm at the garden centre - it'll be good for checking for bugs on my plants too.
