After weeks of no rain, at last we got some heavy showers yesterday evening. The garden was almost losing its battle to stay alive.

Lucky you Hilda, we are so parched here, we were having breakfast in the garden earlt this morning and we had three drops of rain the first for at least four months !

Oh, that's terrible!
I know the feeling! We are really struggling to keep all the plants alive. Especially the young plants suffer a lot, a lot have died already!

Yes, it is! And yesterday I had my fourth operation on my left foot (13 July), six operations on both feet, so I am in horizontal position again, for a change ;-(.
But we've had some more rain these last few days: such a blessing (but still not enough).

Thats why you have been quiet, hope all is well and you recover quickly. Take care.

Thanks, Grandmage ;-)
In the meantime we got a severe storm, with heavy rain (flooding) and strong winds. Several trees have been uprooted, not in our garden, but in many streets around our part of the country and Brussels. Luckily it has stopped now...
