Yes, they work fine, don't give out much light, but give you something to see other than the dark when you're in the conservatory at night! I have them all over the garden, in the trees, on the arches, around the greenhouse....looks a bit like Disneyland at night my garden!! lol.....water features are also solar. Thanks MH. this is Clematis 'Parisienne' on the left. it's been flowering a long time now.

Aw Karen this is beautiful - its really filled out nicely. The clematis is amazing on the left. Is that a solar light and do they work?
