plums fallen from the Prunus cerasifera 'Nigra' - Purple Leaved Flowering Plum dont normally see them - been very windy

When you can...would you possibly put up a picture of the tree Drc726? I have a purple tree with similar looking fruits....I shall put up a picture of it tomorrow with the fruits on it. Thanks....

HI M tomorrow I will take another pic of it. on page 1 of my pics there is a pic from underneath it and on page 17 a pic of the pink blossom. I will post a pic of it this spring in a min.

It says on line that this tree has edible plum like fruit does anyone know I havent the nerve to try!
