Prunus cerasifera 'Nigra' - Purple Leaved Flowering Plum coming into blossom this spring

I love this tree. I had one when I lived in the cottage. It's too big for here :o(. But i can see the ones on GoY instesd lol

Hi Drc726, my tree's name is Prunus 'Hessei'...the fruits are edible...I have just tasted one...very juicy and sweet...felt weird eating it though...I have more on the tree, but I may leave it to the birds... :)))

A lot of my fruit cam down in the wind so I put them on the bird table and there they stay lol!
