I used to have an elderly friend called Doris. She kindly left me some cash in her will and I was able to buy my greenhouse with it.....so doris is a good name for this lovely clem don't you agree?

She's a quirky girl ins't she! I think that's why she has such a fab name...I'm surprised theres not 'alba' somewhere in the name too! the name seems to say ...."violet viticella clematis with different shade of violet veins!" I think they should have named her....Clematis Viticella Alba Violacea Venosa Cerulea!! What do you think? ;)) lol .....or perhaps just......Doris
