Thanks for the name, I rather like it, it smells nice and in a pot in a shady spot, it looks good, sorry it's not to your liking.

I agree In a pot Titchy it looks nice and flowers are pretty but mine escaped through the bottom between the paving and it took 5 years to get it out of a flower bed. I didnt like the smell though.

Hi Drc, I can understand that you were not that keen on this Houttuynia - I was told from the start not to put it into a border, as it would work it's way into all directions, so it's always been in a pot, but I never pull the green leaves out, as they turn yellow and red as they get older, and I do get the white flowers.
Mind you I shall never remember the name, have now made a note of it just in case someone wants a bit of it for a POT of course

Strange, I've planted it three times and just can't keep it alive... Bought some more at a car boot sale a couple of weeks ago - just testing it for rabbit-resistance before trying again.

Hi Tichy, hope you're ok?? I had it my pond for years, it did start to 'overgrow' and then it just vanished! I think it looks lovely Tichy, perhaps it needs a bit more sun to get more colour?? I don't know though lol:-)
