Geranium "Sky Rocket"

Very pleased with these Geraniums they have a climbing habit and have flowered lovely so far.

Mine are doing well too....but are not "skyrocketting" very much !!!!
They are similar to ivy leaf geraniums Denise so should be perennial....I'm hoping so!! I shall be taking cuttings soon and over-wintering the plants in the greenhouse...

Thank you Amblealice, you have answered a question I have, when to take cuttings, but do you use root powder?

My personal choice is no for geraniums(pelargoniums) regals..there is a theory that rooting powder inhibits rooting on these plants. You could try dipping the stems in a weak solution of vitamin "c"....obtained from chemist. This method is recommended by the Vernon Geranium Nursery.....I haven't tried it myself.....yet....

All my G cuttings rotted last year and I put it down to taking them too late so perhaps I will also have a try soon?
