Eryngium planum with Pestemon 'Blue Springs'

Like both of these Wagger, unfortunately my grandson threw my Eryngium away when he did some weeding for me - he thought they were thistles.

Beautiful shades.
My husband is the only other person that does anything in my garden and if it's not a dandelion he asks me first ;-)

Is he still alive, Stroller? I suppose he was only trying to help though. Your husband is very wise, Columbine, lol.

I love these love the colour too, I had one last year don't know where its gone.

He does eat the food I cook,of course he's wise! ;-)
