This is the last batch of blackcurrant syrup. I have now processed 40 lbs of blackcurrants and don't want to see another one till next year! The syrup keeps for at least 6 monrhs and is lovely over icecream and summer puds, diluted with water (a la ribena), a splash in white wine to make kir and in winter, a real comforter with hot water, lemon and honey!
