Something to look forward to.....great! I did a similar tidy up yesterday. Several pots emptied!

yes but we have to get on or all the good bulbs will be picked over, I have learned that to my cost in the past, been late getting sorted and nothing but the smallest bulbs left on the shelf. Are there any non gardeners left - after joining this site I cannot think that there are many - it is soo sooo nice to have people of same mind to talk to.

Enough people still look at me funny when I talk flowers....
You are right about not waiting to long to buy them.

They do not know what they are missing that's all I would say, I wish I had friends who would talk about flowers too, mine are into shooting and picking up game and dogs, not that I don't like dogs I do. I love my dogs, but love my garden more.

My father and sister in law are the only ones i know who care about gardening ( I did get the husband involved but he's into green stuff-Ivy,Fern,Moss).I tried explaining one of my cousins just last month about how I spend most of my time in the garden and she just couldn't get it.It was like 'but what do you have to spend so much time on'.A garden for her is grass+few shrubs :-(
