Carnations don't like me for some reason, think it is the soil we are clay - would that be the reason do you think?

I`m not really sure my soil is light sandy soil..perhaps they like that fussy things !

I haven't tried them for ages, will probably try them in some tubs next year, because I do like the colours they have. Not a fan of the perfum of them but such a variable amount of colours to choose from. Will put them on the wish list.

I took some cuttings yesterday from my daughter's bouquet that she had for her 50th birthday. Will they come true do you think ? These were yellow with a red edge to the petals.

I think they will...these were taken from red ones and look the same as the originals
