Thanks ST / JJ - I love this photo - think I may get it blown up / framed. Looked up Centaurea Montana ST - that's the one. We had a couple of dozen strange seeds appeared in the main garden's herbaceous bed in the spring & not knowing what they were, planted them up. This is what they developed into so we've now planted them into "The Orchard" as well. The bees love this plant. Would be great if we get more seed next year as well as we are intending to make a "bee" area in the corner of the orchard with lavender, chives, mint & this plant. Thanks :o)
