Thanks everyone. Amy, have you seen them in the flesh? I've only seen them online like Sandra or in books.

I have this too Dawn, must check if mine has flowers yet :-) mines only a small clump too, swapped it on a swapshop,lol.

Were they seeds Kathy? My book says to collect the seeds as soon as they are ripe and set them in wet compost, I'll be doing that when they're ripe.

I haven't Dawn , only online like you , do you think it will take very long to spread ?

No Dawn it was a piece from a division, I must remember that and try some from seed, would like a few more :-)

Hi Amy, not sure how long it will take to spread. Do you have anywhere for it to go, I hope to divide and grow seed.

In the books its looks great, fingers crossed.

just read up dawn and it says 1m max spread and 1.5m height each plant taking from 5/10 years to maturity, growth rate moderate, hope this helps ;o))

Thanks for this info Sandra, much appreciated. I have six plants dotted around, I'm going to try and collect the seeds and propagate them, I would imagine a group would look great.
