This Golden/Yellow African Tulip tree is just barely starting to bloom. Luckily it will bloom for many more months. Photo taken August 1, 2010.

Yes, we do have many flowering trees. However, my favorite flowering shrubs/trees bloom in Winter.

You have so many blooming trees down there in California!
It seems they are in every colour of the rainbow! the jacaranda seedlings are starting to "Leaf" out! I'm so excited.. Since August is our last hot month, I think I will try to pot them up by mid-month... since our "move" appears to be soon, I'm hoping to have them potted and ready to take away with me.
