Plumeria 'King Kalakaua' - King Kalakaua Plumeria

This King Kalakaua Plumeria is about 5 houses down the street from me. I'm not sure how the people get their car into the garage, because this tree takes up about half the driveway. Photo taken August 4, 2010.

I know you're correct. They would have to cut all the branches back to fit a car into this garage.

Its October 2 and 93F in Hayward. I'm feeling like pottup the Plumeria. Its not too late in the year- Andy what do you think?

Plumeria usually likes smaller pots. They tend to rot in larger pots. In the ground they grow much better, of course.

I know it's been very hot here, yesterday it was 100ºF (38ºC). Today and tomorrow will be slightly hotter. I'm actually very tired of the heat! Many of my plants even the plumerias have been burning.
