Well lack of light on the water helps keep the algae down so we cannot win!

Its a wildlife pond so I have no running water, apart from every few days I will top up with the hose. Plenty of oxygenators, water soldiers etc. But yes i do get the odd bit of blanket weed.
I clear it away but that has to be done carefully because of the frogs, newts who have moved in.
Its one of those, water lillies are supposed to be repotted every 2-3 years. I dont want to touch mine now hes started.

Wish I had done the same Treesan as I took mine out as it got so big and replaced it with a different one but its not as good as the old one.

HI Trees mine did not flower the first year - then I read that they need light to flower so I removed some oxygenator foliage to let some light in.
