Sedum telephium 'Matrona' - 2010

This is a nice combination of colours in the same plant. Love these but most of the large headed ones fall open if not staked.

Vincent - I find there are two reasons why the plants fall open. Either they are growing in too rich a soil or the plant has become large and needs dividing

Wagger - I came across this variety a few years ago at Wisley where the RHS were running a trial of sedums. This one was the most popular with the butterflies!

Seems to be quite widely available now - not surprising with its 'Award of Garden Merit' Onto the list it goes!
