Lobelia Queen Victoria

By Meanie

Lobelia Queen Victoria (Lobelia cardinalis (Cardinal flower))

She's in bloom at last!
The best of all the perennial Lobelias - I was gutted when I lost all the ones in the beds over the winter. This one is on one of the offsets that I picked out and put in pots, planting out in the spring.

Its lovely Meanie I had one planted in our border that just didnt do very well, so I planted it around our pond with its roots underwater, and low and behold ours is just starting to flower too.......
