Thanks Sandra and Carol not sure why a lot of them have come out in different colours. They should have all been the same but anyway I like them too;-)

Your welcome Richard sorry if it rained again there for your Bar B Q as it did rain here again

17 Aug, 2010

No it stayed fine Sixpence thanks, but it was very cold so we didn't stay long we must be getting 'nesh'

18 Aug, 2010

Does 'nesh' mean soft by chance? lol! Sorry you got chilled on your evening out my friend~Autumn is on her way by the feel of the evenings now.....hope you warmed up when you got home.... :~))x

18 Aug, 2010

yes 'nesh' means soft Flori. It is getting cooler now in the evenings and thanks I sooned warmed up chatting here ;-)

18 Aug, 2010

Lol, Rich! Because I am a Londoner by birth, I was always being told how soft us southerners are, mind you, usually that's by a Northerner of course!! lol. I noticed a change the other day, Autumn creeps up on silent feet my friend. Am glad we warmed you up on GoY though, this site could save us a fortune on heating bills! Tee hee hee :~))

Ha ha Flori that is very true, I was born in Wales and lived there for the first 33 years of my life. It was 1000 feet above sea level so it was very cold there in the winter. Leicestershire is quite mild in comparison ;-)

18 Aug, 2010

We are lucky down here in West Wiltshire, as it usually is pretty mild, and the cold spells don't last too long....well that was until last Winter...brrrrr!, that just wasn't nice! I'm thinking of hibernating at the start of this one....!!! :~))

18 Aug, 2010

Don't blame you. I have been on many holidays to Wiltshire and the surrounding countryside it is very beautiful especially in the summer. Don't know what it is like in winter as I have not been there then....lol ;-)

What parts have you visited? Wiltshire is a beautiful county, still very rural, with picture box villages, and thatched cottage roofs....I was born a city girl from the 'Smoke', but I love it down here...After 38 years in this county, I think I may now be considered a 'Local', lol!

19 Aug, 2010

Yes Flori I think you can be considerd a local girl now. We have been around Trowbridge and Melksham Flori, my wife has relations around there. We have stayed in other places too Wilton seems to ring a bell ;-).

19 Aug, 2010

I know Trowbridge well, as we are in a village close by, and Melksham. Wilton is where they make the rugs, just outside Salisbury...so I know all of these areas well. In fact, there is a really nice Garden Centre at Wilton...lol!

19 Aug, 2010

You live in a lovely part of the world Flori and usually much warmer than up here......lol :-)

19 Aug, 2010

Actually, it is Rich. Think that's why we found it so hard when we had the 'Freeze', we are just not use to it! A friend told me that all the berries are coming out a bit earlier than usual, which could indicate another hard Winter coming in....I'm off to find an underground cave.....lol!

19 Aug, 2010

OH said to me today Flori that she noticed that there were a lot of berries on the trees and mentioned that could mean a hard winter. I will have to make sure that the bird feeders are well stocked up :-)

19 Aug, 2010

I've stocked up my supplies, doubled my duvet, and located my cave dwelling, with PC connection~I'm all ready for my Winters hibernation when it comes....lol

20 Aug, 2010

I can see that you are well set up then Flori. We will have a warm winter now I expect...lol ;-)

20 Aug, 2010

There's nothing quite like being prepared my friend...in a 'just in case' scenario! Tee hee hee! :~))

20 Aug, 2010

That's true Flori :-)

20 Aug, 2010

Aha! Is this the one Richard? It's lovely!

9 Oct, 2012
