11 hazelnuts on this cluster. Not quite ready to pick yet!

If they are like ours they will vanish overnight, Squirrells !!!! We have never managed to eat one yet, Lol.

These are in a hedge that grows alongside one of the studs paddocks and I think one of my dogs have scared off squirrels for life, we even call her Jazzy The Squirrel Pup!! Funny though, there have been alot of nuts this year (great excitement, though not for my teeth, the nutcrackers broke before my teeth have!! But the nuts inside are not so big. Maybe wait another couple of weeks, they seem to be late to fully fruit this year.

Dont forget it's only August ! As you say give them a few more weeks !
