More photos from my visit to the botanic gardens in Oxford yesterday.
I was surprised to see this large Clerodendrum outside, although it apparently originates from Japan so maybe I shouldn't have been surprised.

As you know, I'm familiar with Ugandense. But the idea of a hardy Clerodendrum in the garden has me thinking.

Meanie:
Clerodendrum bungei - Kashmir bouquet is very hardy also.

Thanks Delonix. Down to minus 5 deg c apparently. This looks the best bet (minus 15 deg c).
I forgot to mention how fragrant it was!

Meanie:
I can't remember any fragrance. I used to have one many years ago...then I give it away.
One thing to remember about C. bungei is that it can be extremely invasive like many of the other Clerodendrum species.

Sorry Delonix, my last post reads appallingly!
I was talking about C.trichotum looking a better bet and being fragrant!
Forgive my dreadful English!!
