You could pick when orangish like I do then put on windowsill to ripen

Think I will leave them, my sister visited today and brought me some of hers, so I will use them first, then mine should be ready. I can see stuffed tomatoes looming, they are getting so large.

Lol Cinders leave them to grow big they might be become as big as a pumpkin, then your fairy god mother could change it into a golden coach and you shall go to the ball, or use it for All Hallows eve.:o))

Anything that I grow in the garden to eat has to be picked and hidden from the little nibbler joshua or else he just picks and munches them...

Plum Toms are delicious....we also like Cherry toms.....we had three self seeded Cherry Plants this year, and we left them, and are producing good fruit....:o)
