This rose is a cracker. It was recommended because I couldnt get the rose I wanted. What a recommendation! I must get another next year to double the perfume which is stunning.

Thanks so much for the info, I`ve been musing over what to buy to replace a poor bedraggled rose that was here when we moved in 38yrs ago. I`ve dug it out and removed soil about 3ft circ and 18 inch deep and replaced with new soil mixed with old horse manure so I think it will be ok to replant with another rose and your one seems ideal.
Will look it up on google. Oh what a shame I wanted a climber and this isnt.

Dawnsaunt from GOY sent me a really lovely climbing one Stroller similar colour to this one called 'New Dawn'.

Hi Stroller
There is a climbing Margaret Merril you know. When in bud it is a white tinged with a pink tending towards apricot, but opens white and shows stamens. It is fairly flexible too. Lovely perfume.
