Hi Sandra, its new and yes, very nice. Just hope it survives the Winter.

Mine didn't even come! It just turned to mush.
Even more hacked off about that now that I've seen your photo - it's lovely!

Sorry Meanie, this is new so mine may be mushy next year too.

Mine turned to a mush over the winter too. I replaced them but the plants are a bit small this year. I will take better care of them this winter.
I noticed Dawn, we have a lot of similar plants in our gardens!!
Best wishes
Linda

So far I only have the leaves on mine , the cold winter must have set it back I think it's getting a little to late to flower now ...... :o(

Really Linda, we must have the same taste, lol.
I think I'll give this a good covering of mulch when it dies down. Last Winter was a bad one though so fingers crossed.

Some Eucomis are hardier than others...Well drained soil and deep planting with a winter mulch usually does the trick....:>)

Hi Motinot, thanks for the advice. I'm wondering if its free draining enough where it is, I might move it later and plant deeper and give it some well rotted muck. Any idea if you can collect seed from them?
