Coccothrinax argentata - Silver Thatch Palm

This is a newly planted Silver Thatch Palm in Balboa Park, San Diego, CA. It is native to south Florida and the Bahamas. It is said these palms grow very slowly...however, by my observation they grow moderately quickly here.
