I brought it in the house, treated for cold in the fridge, but it started back up too early got leggy in early spring and bloomed poorly and early. I'll leave it out this year and see what comes. The season is often too short to get blooms, but it seems longer every year.

At the nursery they almost did it. I have such a cool garden they will come up but once they shoot up to bloom, its getting into autumn. Sorry to hear your didn't do well. Any ideas why?

Did you have any lucky with the white Liatris GT?

I didn't Janette. I was very sad about it. Maybe the shipping was hard for it. Many suppliers wont even offer to send anything to Alaska. I will have one one day. :-)

There is a fine clump of them in bloom at Kew. I'll try to remember to post a picture on my next blog.We had a hard (for the UK ) winter followed by a dry, warm spring.I hope it flowers better for you next year.
