No - it was here when we came, Nannym. It isn't a true climber - it needs support, and mine is wired onto a wall, facing SW. It does need to face south or west, as it can be affected by cold. It's a very beautiful 'climber' though!

oh thank you for the info,is it something i can buy at a garden centre ,or is it some sort of weed, i dont mean to be a div it comes natural lol

Yes, you should be able to get one quite easily. I've seen them at most Garden Centres.
Don't ever worry about asking questions - how are you to learn if you don't?? :-)
