Not sure if this is really a weed or not, but there's lots of it growing in the hedgerows around here. Whatever it is, I do like it!

Thanks for your comments.
It stands about 1.5 metres tall Camillia and spreads prodigiously!
Pip - Get the light correct and this plant can't fail to give an interesting photo!
Lulu - thanks for the ID. It's not coming anywhere near my garden now!

I keep it in pots with saucers of water under them to keep them moist. They are so pretty, pity not to show them off somehow!

Lovely looking plant, but I'll let sleeping dogs lie on this one I think. Apparently, they spread by spores too!

It was only thanks to your ID that I was able to research it, so big thanks.

I wonder how far it would travel if left unchecked?

About 15 feet left, 10 foot right and another 10 foot backwards and forwards so far!!!

The Bamboo is difficult to dig out, however in the lawn just mow it .It will not progress in an area where it canot put its leaves.some years ago i saw them at Wisley and they just cut around them to retain the size.

Its so beautiful Meanie that you should plant it as one of the items in your garden but again I don't know how big does it grow and spread.
